Q: How will the courses be taught & What will we learn?
A: Sierra College professors Steve Hunter and Mike Halbern have been contracted to lead the technical training program. They have designed the RoMec courses in conjunction with industry leaders to focus on hands-on projects and emphasize usable skills that students can apply immediately to the worksite. The Sierra College team creates a cooperative, fun, open learning environment that makes them a perfect fit with the ski industry. A: The reaction of attendees, trainers, observers and resort management has been entirely positive and enthusiastic. All agree that this technical training program is just what the industry was in search of. Q: How many people can attend?
A: To maximize personal attention and safety, each class will be limited to 24 students.
Q: Where will the courses be taught?
A: Northstar-at-Tahoe will be hosting the program for the first time. Northstar is a perfect laboratory because of its broad array of lifts, ranging from fixed grips to detachables.

Q: How much do the courses cost?
A: $950 including lunch.
Q: I don’t live in the Tahoe area - what are my lodging options?
A: For those attendees requiring lodging, Northstar has offered a special Bed and Breakfast package. More info TBA
